Jaguar

The jaguar is a big Cat, a feline in the Panthera genus, and is the only Panthera species found in the Americas. The jaguar s the third-largest feline after the tiger and the lion, and the largest in the Western Hemisphere.

When a Jaguar pounces, sometimes one bite is all it takes to get a meal. Here is a exclusive video of a jaguar taking down a caiman in brazil's pantanal wetlands, dispatching their prey by piercing the skull or neck with a single speedy bite. Their Strategy differs from that of most other cats, which grab their prey's throat and suffocate it. "We had seen skill before, but nothing so spectacular and horrific nor at such close range. It's made me think a lot about the fragility of life and the fine line between life death."
